FULL-STACK // BOOKING + OPERATIONS APP

Palmer Detailing

A mobile detailer who started with a phone number and a truck — and now runs his whole business from a browser. This isn't a brochure site. It's a full-stack web app: a public booking front end backed by a secure staff dashboard for clients, scheduling, and live pricing, on a real authenticated backend.

The Public Site

Customers still find Palmer on their phones, so the front end is fast, mobile-first, and built to convert. But it's not static anymore — the prices and service details on the public page are pulled live from the backend Palmer controls. He changes a price in his dashboard; the website updates itself.

The Business Runs Here

Behind a login sits the part that turns a website into a business tool. A full staff dashboard where Palmer runs his day — not a static admin page, a real operations app with five working views.

Built Like Real Software

This is where being an engineer who also does security shows up. The whole thing is a proper application — a public front end, a serverless API, and cloud storage — and it's built so the data is actually protected, not just tucked out of sight.
Public Sitereads live settings
Serverless APIauth-gated functions

Security built in, not bolted on

Every function that touches client data checks for a logged-in operator first and rejects the request outright if there isn't one — enforced on the server, where it can't be bypassed by fiddling with the page. Public visitors can read prices; only an authenticated operator can read or change customer records. That's the difference between a developer who's heard of security and one who breaks into software for a living.

Why this matters

Palmer went from a phone number on a truck to running clients, scheduling, pricing, and bookings from his pocket — with zero hardware and nothing to maintain. That's not a website. It's the operating system for a one-man business, and it's the kind of thing most agencies quote five figures for.

Runs Your Business?

Booking, scheduling, clients, a customer portal — a real app, built and secured by one engineer. If you're running your business off a notebook and a phone, there's a better way.
